DRIVER HISTORY
|
 At the age of 16, Don started truck and tractor pulling. He met a lot of monster truck guys doing that. Then his brother bought the original Taurus. So his family was around them a lot. He then decided he wanted to buy one himself so he bought a truck as well. He bought Knight Warrior in 1990 but quickly changed it to Maniac. He is a full time driver now but prior to this he helped out on the family farm. His goal for this season is to win a few tv events. Although he says that he has to first be invited to them. There is not a particular individual that he enjoys racing against. He likes everybody. He also enjoys seeing both his trucks in the finals. His favorite stop on the monster jam series is Houston because of the size of the crowd and the venue. He differs from other drivers in that he tries to do the most variety in his freestyle runs. The advice he would give to others is to get an education because this business is costly to get into. Also, make sure you enjoy what your doing.
