While attending Southwest Texas University, Pablo was lured away to pursue his interest in the four wheel drive business. After a short while of working in a four wheel drive shop Pablo partnered up to build the King Krunch Monster Truck to promote the business. After three months of touring for TNT Motor sports, he was hooked and became the first full time touring team in the Industry. After 1 year on tour, the popularity grew and so did the need to build the second King Krunch. After a couple of years running the trucks, he went one step further and designed & built the one and only “turbine powered” monster truck and called it the “Silver Bullet” which immediately entertained a sponsorship by Coors. Pablo’s King Krunch was the second touring monster truck to be powered by a blown alcohol motor.

In 1987, he parted ways with the King Krunch team and campaigned his truck as “Jus’ Show-N-Off”, in 1990 he acquired sponsorship from Ralston Purina, changed the paint scheme to accommodate the Purina Mainstay Dog Food signage (the other racer’s ragged him about a dog food sponsorship, but that’s ok, he howled all the way to the bank!).

The sponsor’s contract was up in 1992; by 1993, he teamed up with Dennis Anderson. Together, they are responsible for much of the Grave Digger truck evolution. Anderson built the original Grave Digger, but Pablo takes credit for building Diggers #4, #10, #11, #12, #15 and #16. Pablo is a pioneer of the industry; he initiated the use of orbital steering that has since become standard for all monster trucks. He and wife Tina own and operate Racesource, Inc. a custom fabrication and machine shop. Pablo and his Racesource parts have earned the trust from many of the top teams in the country and have become a reputable source.
