Charles Benns is an energetic and driven person who has a lot on his plate. He began racing arena trucks in 2004 and in 2005, he decided to take a stab at monster trucks. On top of being a great monster truck driver, Benns is also a real estate broker, a businessman, and a part time dad.

In 2004, Benns, with the help of friends and sponsors, built his own arena truck names Pit-Bull to not only win races, but to help out kids in the Carrie Tingley Children’s Hospital in Albuquerque. Charles donates 100% of all his profits from the arena truck to the hospital to benefit the kids and their needs. When he is not busy driving monster trucks, selling real estate, or being an advocate for the children’s hospital, he is growing out his hair to donate to Locks of Love, a charity that makes wigs for children who have lost their hair.

When Charles decided to step up his monster truck career, he looked to Bill Weaver’s team to fill the bill. It is here that Rambo met Pit-Bull and the rest is history. His goal is always to run hard, run reliable, and run consistent. His favorite career highlight was when raced against his hero Pablo Huffaker.

Charles dedication and enthusiasm is an inspiration to all, and we can’t wait to only see more from this great driver in the future!
