MONSTERS HAUNTS LOUISVILLE, KY! MONSTER JAM HAS HUGE RETURN INTO FREEDOM HALL
AURORA, IL– This past weekend Monster Jam made its triumphant return to Freedom Hall in Louisville, KY for two incredible nights of Monster Truck madness. With a truck lineup that could rock any stadium, Freedom Hall was presented with a show for the ages! For the first time in 9 years, Grave Digger, Maximum Destruction, Superman, Monster Mutt and many more took over Louisville and gave the fans a chance to watch Monster Trucks and eat sweet treats. Fans were not only treated to two action packed shows, they also had the chance to do their trick or treating with the stars of Monster Jam! With a Pit Party including costume contests, receiving candy from their favorite drivers and even a haunted house, Louisville fans needed only one place to be for Halloween this year. Most fans would assume they had more than enough fun for the weekend…but they were wrong! One lucky fan even walked away with a Traxxs T-Maxx R.C. car after winning the best costume contest (check out the photo section for plenty of highlights from the weekend).
In a town starving for Monster Truck excitement, Grave Digger, driven by Pablo Huffaker delivered the goods Louisville fans had been waiting for, for nearly a decade! Both nights Grave Digger destroyed the freestyle competition by showing why he truly is the kind of Monster Jam. Friday night, however, was El Toro’s night to show Louisville why he deserves to be the top monster. Grave Digger may have won the Freestyle Competition but the judges agreed that El Toro Loco deserved the most overall points for the night, taking 1st place on Friday.
At the end of the weekend all 8 drivers stood in the middle of the arena floor, waved to the crowd and said goodbye to Louisville knowing they had given the fans one of the most exhilarating weekends in Monster Jam history. Louisville may not have seen a Monster Jam in 9 long years coming into last weekend, but judging by the reaction of the 15,000 plus in attendance, fans may not have to wait long for the next Monster Jam to haunt Louisville again.
