MONSTER JAM ROARS INTO DENMARK FOR INAUGURAL EVENT

Untitled Document

Stockholm, Sweden - (June 24, 2008) – Ten massive monster truck superstars roared into Denmark on Saturday for the inaugural Monster Jam® show at Copenhagen’s Brondby Stadium, astounding nearly 29,000 event goers with a trail of carnage only these colossal creations are capable of producing.

“What an event!” exclaimed event partner and Promoter Christian Krage, Live Nation Denmark.  “I don’t think anyone sat in their seats.  Monster Jam has been on TV2 for two years in Denmark, but this is our first live event.  I know the fans didn’t know what to think, but listening to how the audience cheered, it was clear they loved it, and we can’t wait for next year.”

“I’m so excited we were finally able to bring Monster Jam® to Denmark,” said Magnus Danielsson, senior director of European events.  “We’ve been looking forward to extending our brand in Scandinavia, specifically in Copenhagen.  The entire Live Nation Denmark team and Brondby Stadium staff are wonderful; they understand all the components of marketing a successful family event and I know we are all anxious for Monster Jam’s return next year.”

Neil Elliot, driving the legendary Maximum Destruction® monster truck, conquered Denmark, winning both freestyle competitions and the afternoon racing, wowing fans at this first-time-ever show with a weekend full of Max D. domination.

“I’m so happy to be over here competing and winning against other world champion trucks like Grave Digger® and Taz®,” said pilot Neil Elliot.  “You fans remind me of the Monster Jam fans in the U.S., and I look forward to coming back year after year to continue winning for you.  Thank you for a great night!”
