A legendary battle continues, and a new battle begins
AURORA , Ill. ( July 22, 2008 ) -- The monsters are making their way back to Stafford Springs, CT July 26-27, when Monster Jam, brought to you by Advance Auto Parts and Ford Trucks, comes to the Stafford Motor Speedway for THREE huge shows.
Last year, packed crowds witnessed the carnage as Grave Digger and Maximum Destruction went head-to-head. This year will be no different as the monsters fire up and tear down the speedway at 2:00 pm and 8:00 pm on Saturday, and 2:00 pm on Sunday.
Plus, this year’s event will feature a new face-off between El Toro Loco and Bulldozer; the first ever Battle-of-the-Bulls! See who takes the crown this year as old and new battles rage on.
Bring the family and your loudest voice, as the best fan just may just receive a special reward for supporting their favorite drivers! Autographs will be available after every show for those fans interested in getting a little closer to the drivers.
For those fans who hold a ticket for the Sunday, 2PM show, a Pit Party from 11-12:30 will take place at the speedway before the show begins. A Pit Pass must accompany the Sunday ticket for entrance to the pit party, where fans will get up close and personal with the machines and the drivers. Pit Passes are available through Rock 106.9 WCCC, or go online to www.monsterjamonline.com and print one out for yourself! Pit Passes will also be sold at the gate for a $5 charge on Sunday.
And since Monster Jam is no stranger to the area, we know our fans like to save money! Coupons are available through Advance Auto Parts for $3 off adult tickets (Saturday shows only, not valid on kids or reserved seats). And we haven’t raised the prices of kids’ tickets; they still get to see the action for only $10 each. Tickets are currently on sale through all Ticketmaster outlets, Pete’s Tire Barn locations, or the Stafford Motor Speedway Box Office. Tickets subject to convenience, handling and facility charges.
