FMX ROLLS INTO CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS

Monster Jam featuring Freestyle Motocross will be rolling into Corpus Christi, Texas this Friday and Saturday and the American Bank Center Arena is where you can find all the big air and thrills.

We got the extraordinary opportunity to chat with Freestyle Motocross rider Dan Newth about his upcoming trip to Corpus Christi. Newth is 24 year old from West Rutland, Vermont who has been riding since 1995. Here are some highlights from our recent chat.

Dan, I understand this will be your first time to Corpus.
“Yes, this will be my first time to Corpus. I’m really looking forward to it.”

What are your thoughts and feelings about riding in Monster Jam events?
“They are a lot of fun, especially when the crowd gets behind us.”

What is your favorite part of riding in Monster Jam shows?
“Defintely, the fans. It’s great to see the fans and kids react to our stunts. It’s also really cool signing autographs and talking with them during Saturday’s pit party.”

What is your favorite truck?
“It’s a tough call, but Maximum Destruction gets my vote.”

What’s your favorite part of the show: Monster Jam Racing or Monster Jam Freestyle?
“Freestyle. It’s just like my event, a chance to go out and give the fans what they want to see.”

What is your favorite trick that the fans can expect to see in Corpus this weekend?
“I’d have to go with the Kiss of Death.”
