OFFICIAL RULES
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY
- TWO WAYS TO ENTER:
A.) Beginning on 12/31/08 on an Official Entry Form, available while supplies last at participating Budweiser retailers in the state of Florida, or on a plain piece of 3”x5” paper, hand print your complete name, street address (no P.O. Boxes), city, state, zip code, date of birth (mm/dd/yyyy), plus daytime and evening telephone numbers. (If you do not have a telephone, indicate “No Phone”. Failure to comply with this or any other official rule will result in disqualification). To enter the Retail Finalist Drawing, mail your entry in a hand-addressed, business-size (#10) envelope with first class postage affixed, to: Budweiser/ WJRR-FM Monster Jam World Finals Flyaway Sweepstakes, c/o WJRR Radio, 2500 Maitland Center Parkway, Suite 401, Maitland, FL 32751. Entries must be received by 1/20/09. Limit one (1) entry per stamped envelope. No mechanically reproduced entries permitted. Illegible or incomplete entries are void. Not responsible for lost, late, damaged, delayed, misdirected, postage-due, mutilated or entries not received by entry deadline.
B) Beginning on 1/05/09 until 1/21/09 listen to WJRR-FM for the special announcement. When prompted, be the designated caller to be entered into the Radio Finalist Drawing. Odds of being the designated caller depend upon the number of calls made, the order in which they were received and the time of day the call is made. Not responsible for faulty or mis-transcribed telephone communication, dropped calls or incorrect announcements of any kind.
- RETAIL FINALIST DRAWING: Five Grand Prize Finalists will be selected in a random drawing held on or about 1/21/09 from among all eligible entries received via Rule 1A. Decisions of the judges are final. Odds of being selected as a Grand Prize Finalist and winning a Finalist prize depend on the number of eligible entries received via Rule 1A.
- RADIO FINALIST DRAWING: Five Grand Prize Finalists will be selected in a random drawing held on or about 1/21/09 from among all eligible designated callers selected via Rule 1B. Decisions of the judges are final. Odds of being selected as a Grand Prize Finalist and winning a Finalist prize depend on the number of eligible designated callers selected via Rule 1B.
Potential Grand Prize Finalists will be notified by phone. If a potential Grand Prize Finalist indicated “No Phone” on his/her entry, he/she will be notified by overnight mail. Radio Station will make 3 attempts within a 24-hour time period, to contact the potential Grand Prize Finalists. No messages will be left on answering machines/voicemail. If Radio Station is unable to reach a Potential Grand Prize Finalist within this time frame, he/she will be disqualified and an alternate may be selected by the Radio Station, if time permits. Limit one Finalist Prize per family/household.
4. GRAND PRIZE FINALIST EVENT: The Grand Prize Finalists will be invited to attend the Grand Prize Finalist Event on 1/24/09 at the Monster Jam event held during the Monster Jam at the Florida Citrus Bowl. If a finalist is unable to attend the 1/24/09 event, he/she may designate a representative to attend the Grand Prize Finalist Event on his/her behalf. Finalists or designated representatives must present valid ID at time of event and must be 21 years or older. If a finalist or designated representative fails to appear at the Grand Prize Finalist Event by 6:00 p.m. on 1/24/09, he/she forfeits any and all opportunities of winning the Grand Prize. Each finalist will receive a randomly selected key and a locked box. When prompted, the finalists will attempt to open their box. The finalist whose key opens the box wins the Grand Prize. If more than one key opens a box, Grand Prize will be awarded in a random drawing of Grand Prize finalists’ whose keys open the box. Decisions of judges are final. Maximum odds of a finalist winning the Grand Prize 1:10.
5. PRIZES & APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES: (1) Grand Prize – A Monster Jam World Finals Flyaway for two. Prize includes roundtrip coach air transportation from a major airport near winner’s home to Las Vegas, NV, up to 3 nights hotel accommodations (one room, double occupancy) at Sponsor-specified hotel and two tickets to the Monster Jam World Finals event to take place on 3/28/09. ARV: $3,000 (Actual retail value may vary depending on winner’s point of departure and fare fluctuations. Any difference between stated approximate retail value and actual value of prize will not be awarded.) Trip must be taken on Sponsor-specified dates or prize will be forfeited. All travel-related expenses not set forth herein, including but not limited to, ground transportation, meals, gratuities and incidental hotel expenses, are the sole responsibility of the winner. (10) Finalist Prizes - 4 tickets to the Monster Jam at the Florida Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Florida on 1/24/09. ARV: $60 each. Transportation/parking not included. If Monster Jam is delayed, postponed or cancelled for any reason, Grand Prize Finalist event will be rescheduled to a date to be determined by Sponsor or cancelled at Sponsor’s discretion. Seat locations for both events at Sponsor’s sole discretion. If either event is delayed, postponed or cancelled for any reason, winner will not be reimbursed for the tickets, but tickets may be subject to standard rain check policies and procures established by issuer. Prizes consist of only those items specifically listed as part of the prize.
6. GENERAL RULES: Open only to residents of Florida who are 21 years or older as of 12/31/08. Employees of the Sponsor, and it’s “Promotional Participants” (including City Beverages Limited Partnership, Feld Motor Sports, Inc., WJRR-FM and each of their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies and suppliers involved in this promotion)and each of their immediate family members (mother, father, sister, brother, husband, wife, daughter, son, step-father, step-mother, step-daughter, step-son, step- brother, step-sister, half-brother, half-sister) and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible. Void outside Florida and where prohibited by law. No substitution, cash redemption or transfer of prize by winner permitted. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of winner. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. All materials submitted become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. Potential Grand Prize Finalists (or designated representative) must sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability prior to Grand Prize Finalist Event. If a Designated Representative is selected as a Finalist, Designated Representative will attend the event on behalf of Finalist and Grand Prize will be awarded to the Finalist, not the Designated Representative. Potential Grand Prize winner and his/her guest must sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability Form within 14 days of Grand Prize Finalist event. Noncompliance within this time may result in disqualification and an alternate may be selected by random draw from remaining Grand Prize Finalists, time permitting. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate may be selected. Grand Prize winner and guest must possess required travel documents (e.g. valid photo ID) prior to departure and must travel on the same itinerary. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to the Sponsor to use winners’ names and/or likenesses for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. By accepting prize, winners (or designated representative, if applicable) agree to release and hold Sponsor, the Promotional Participants and their respective directors, officers, employees and assigns, harmless against any and all claims, damages, losses, expenses and liability arising out of use/acceptance of prize or prize travel. By accepting prize, winners (or designated representative, if applicable) accept the inherently dangerous nature and risk in attending Monster Truck events, including personal injury and/or death, acknowledges that his/her participating in the prize event is voluntary, acknowledges that there are natural factors and occurrences which may impact on or affect the safety of the activities he/she is participating in and he/she assumes the risk of such factors and occurrences and agrees that promotional participants shall not be in any way responsible for any resulting injury and/or death. Entrants (or designated representative, if applicable) assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this promotion and use or redemption of any prize. By participating in this promotion, entrants (or designated representative, if applicable) agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges. Sponsor and the Promotional Participants are not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing, the offering or the announcement of any prizes or in the administration of the promotion.
