Weekend Race Recap
Saturday -
Monster Jam hits like a storm another Latin American city!! Now it’s the turn for Mexico City. For the very first time ever, Monster Jam arrives with great competition, at the Hermanos Rodriguez Race track.
A couple of very interesting thing about this great track: First, it is all paved since it is where different formulas run. Secondly, it is the longest track where Monster Jam has ever been to.
The track is fantastic. The length of the track is 626 feet. So that represented a challenge for the drivers, especially for racing, where they had a greater track to drive in racing, and it worked great!
The Mexican fans were so excited to have Monster Jam for the first time. As we taped some bits for the Monster Jam program on Speed channel, people while waiting on line, were cheering to their favorite trucks. Monster jam is a worldwide known sport, and Mexico was no exception. The entire crowd stood up during every single competition supporting and cheering their favorite trucks.
Monster jam Racing.

Round two.
Captain’s Curse got to the second round as fastest loser running against Escalade. Escalade def Captain’s Curse; Black Stallion def Grave Digger; Superman def El Toro Loco.
Semi-Final
Escalade runs against fastest loser Grave Digger. Grave Digger def Escalade; Superman def Black Stallion.
Final
Superman defeated Grave Digger in the final round.
El Toro loco was on the one minute call coming back at the second round due to an electrical problem, which was rapidly resolved by his crew, and was able to make back. Superman ran the fastest I have ever seen him, probably taking advantage of the great long track.
