The crowd was loud rowdy and ready for some action as we got underway right on time. The Street warriors were invited as were the quads to have some fun in Quincy…… The street warriors got their show in tonight and they absolutely thrilled the Quincy fans…… Those guys are VERY serious about winning at Monster Jam. Your competitors were:
Will Lotheridge
Darren Chapman
Sidney Ballinger
Brent Chapman
Jason Heck
J.C. Brown
Dusty Bingaman

Darren Chapman took the main with a time of 34:22 Congrats and thanks to all our Street warriors!!

Out came the Quads as Team Missouri took on team Illinois. Team Missouri came into Quincy with a 4-3 lead on the series so far for the year. Team Illinois was determined to make Friday night their night……it was not to be. Team Missouri took the night but in a weird twist. Team Illinois won the main but answered the call of Team Missouri for a grudge match. Team Missouri won the night in Quad wars. That leaves us with some unresolved issues for Saturday night…..should be interesting!! Come join us Saturday night to see how this plays out!!

The Monsters Looked awesome……clean, beautiful, and ready to race. The pros of Monster Jam Summer Heat were ready for what was going to be a challenging night of WHEELIES, Chicago style Roundy round RACING and of course FREE STYLE!!

The BUILT FORD TOUGH WHEELIE competition would prove to be both challenging and awesome at the same time. 2 Hits each and the there was some high flying for every Monster in Quincy………… Everyone managed to stay on all fours but what a challenge for the Monster drivers….. here's how they stacked up:
Grave Digger 28
Captains Curse 11
The Felon 20
Shock Therapy 11
Excalibur 15
Digger took the wheelie contest for the second night in a row in fine Digger fashion!

On to the 1-800 Safe Auto Racing heats…… two laps full Chicago Roundy Round style racing!!
Captain's Curse and Alex Blackwell had a tough race session, dropping a tranny in the second round of racing……. It was certainly unsure if Blackwell and Curse would be back or if their night was finished.
It all came down to a final that was thrilling as Digger and Shock Therapy hooked up. As the first lap unfolded and the monsters passed the mid point in the race…….it was a dead heat between Digger and Shock Therapy…. Chad Tingler did a great job on the course and just never lifted to take the victory by a sizeable margin over Shock Therapy. CONGRATS TO GRAVE DIGGER AND CHAD TINGLER!!

That makes two for two for Digger as Tingler and the Digger team won Wheelies and Racing tonight…….The Freestyle should be interesting as Tingler was looking for the trifecta tonight in Quincy…could he pull it off???

As we headed off to the UTI FREE STYLE all the Monster drivers felt they had had a great opportunity to win the Freestyle!! Our Monster pros did NOT disappoint…..Incredible air, fun slap wheelies…..high flying fun
WOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOO!!
As the free style unfolded……The pit guys let us know that Curse and Blackwell would be coming out for the UTI Freestyle and the Quincy fans went nuts…….all 5 trucks would take the course for Freestyle!

Freestyle results:
Excalibur 7
The Felon 17
Captain's Curse 26
Shock Therapy 27
Grave Digger PERFECT 30………
Digger had a great night completing the trifecta in Quincy. The Digger fans were pumped!!

Thanks to all our incredible Monster Jam Fans in Quincy. We are back for another show tonight!! I am pumped and can't wait to have some more Monster fun!!

Mitch
