Trucks: USHRA Monster Trucks including Grave Digger, Monster Mutt dalmatian, Screamin Demon, Killer Bee, Virginia Giant, and Storm Damage. Subject to change without notice.

Friday Night:

The Governor may have declared it a state of emergency but the fans declared it MONSTER JAM! Friday night is in the books! With Blizzard conditions all around us outside, the fans in West Virginia still came out. Thank you Charleston.

With the trucks we have here I couldn't wait for the performance in the civic center tonight.

Wheelie Contest Results:
Storm Damage 5 6 3 14
Killer Bee 6 5 2 13
Screaming Deamon 5 5 4 14
Virginia Giant 6 6 6 18
Monster Mutt Dalmation 8 8 8 24
Grave Digger 9 8 9 26

The racing would bring us our closest contest of the night and some upsets as well. The J hook track would prove tough for some of our competitors. In the first round we watched upsets like Killer Bee advanced past the Virginia Giant, Screaming Deamon knocked off Candice Jolly and MM Dalmation. The only favorite to advance was Charlie Paukin and Grave Digger over Storm Damage.

Needing four trucks for the semi finals MM Dalmation earned a spot with the fastest time amongst the first round losers. She made the most of her second chance as she crossed the Ford finish line a nose ahead of Killer Bee. Also moving onto the finals would be Grave Digger as he made easy work of the Screaming Deamon. The finals were set with two trucks that share the same hauler so braggin rights were on the line. In the end it would be Grave Digger by a nose over his traveling partner MM Dalmation. In the freestyle I would have to say it took a few trucks for the others to get the set up here in Charleston figured out. In the end they were all just grooming the track for the black and green wrecking machine Grave Digger.

Freestyle Results:
Storm Damage 5 4 5 14
Killer Bee 4 4 4 12
Screaming Deamon 6 5 5 16
Virginia Giant 7 7 7 21
MM Dalmation 7 8 7 22
Grave Digger 9 9 9 27

Pit Party tomorrow at 11:30 along with 2 shows one at 2pm and again at 7pm. I hope the weather holds off.

Saturday Afternoon:

UNBELIVABLE! With everything this state is going through this weekend like blizzard conditions in parts of the state and the governor declaring a state of emergency. The fans came out in droves almost doubling the attendance from last night. Everything went fantastic from beginning to end. Our only problem fell on the shoulders of Candice Jolly and Monster Mutt Dalmatian. When she was asked she couldn't answer the bell. An electrical problem has plagued the truck for the last two weeks. They had to tow her to the pit area where her crew went right to work.

Wheelie contest results:

Storm Damage 9 8 8 25
Killer Bee 6 6 6 18
Screamon Deamon 5 5 6 16
Virginia Giant 6 6 7 19
Grave Digger 8 9 9 26

The racing would come down to two veterans. The first round saw Killer Bee knock off Virginia Giant, Screamon Demon would get a bye as Monster Mutt Dalmatian was still in for repairs and Grave Digger would advance past Storm Damage. Redemption was in the script for round two as the Virginia Giant came back as the fastest loser to even the score with Killer Bee and Grave Digger moved on to the finals as he hit the Ford Finish line just ahead of Scremon Demon. So the finals were set almost 50 years experience behind the wheel of a monster truck between Diehl Wilson and Charlie Paukin. When the green flag dropped they were neck and neck and when they came to the Ford finish line it would be a draw!!!! Thats right a draw. Grave Digger was officially declared the winner but after further review they both shared the victory.

So with Freestyle the only element remaining the question of the night was still on everyones mind where is Candice Jolly and her Monster Mutt Dalmatian? Right before I gave the go ahead for freestyle I happen to look into the tunnel and Candice gave me a big smile and a thumbs up! Sheeeeeeeeees Baaaaak! When she took to the arena floor she was destined to make up for lost time and hit every obstacle and also flew the Mutt 30 plus feet in the air. It was well worth the wait. She came up just 2 points short of a victory.

Freestyle Results:

Storm Damage 5 4 5 14
Killer Bee 5 3 4 12
Screamon Demon 6 5 6 17
Virginia Giant 6 6 6 18
MM Dalmatian 8 8 8 24
Grave Digger 9 9 8 26

Saturday Night:

Well talk about saving the best for last, thats exactly what the superstars of Monster Jam did. Thank you to the great fans of West Virginia for coming out this weekend with all you had to endure to get here.

With all six trucks up and running we were ready to roll for the final performance of the weekend. The third verse was same as the first..... at least when it came to the outcome of each event. All the other trucks tried but couldn't overtake the king Grave Digger.

Wheelie Contest Results:

Storm Damage 6 7 7 20
Killer Bee 7 3 5 15
Screamon Demon 6 8 7 21
Virginia Giant 7 8 7 22
MM Dalmatian 8 8 8 24
Grave Digger 9 9 9 27

The racing once again would see the same truck stand alone at the end. Killer Bee was unable to make the call to the Advance Auto Parts start line. He lost his front rotor in the wheelie contest. So Virginia Giant got a bye to the semi finals. MM Dalmatian knocked off the Screamon Demon to advance and Grave Digger soared past Storm Damage. Screamon Demon came back as the fastest loser to face Virginia Giant in semi finals. The Deamon would knock off the Giant and find himself in the finals. Grave Digger would keep his traveling partner MM Dalmatian in check as he advanced to the finals for the third time this weekend. Even though the Demon wanted it more than anything Digger once again proved to be to much for the truck from Bethesda, MD.

Freestyle Results:

Storm Damage 4 3 5 12
Screamon Demon 5 7 6 18
Virgina Giant 7 5 6 18
MM Dalmatian 8 8 8 24
Grave Digger 10 10 10 30
