Advance Auto Parts and Ford Trucks Present the Del Taco Monster Jam brought by 1-800-THELAW2 was a huge hit on Saturday night!!! The monsters roared into the stadium ready to kick off the “Road To Las Vegas”!! 12 of the top trucks in the world turned out to battle thru the elimination rounds of Chicago Style Obstacle Course Racing. The power houses advanced, Digger, Blue Thunder, Dragon Slayer, Power Forward.
The rest of the field could see they are in for a long 2004 season.
Blue Thunder and Grave Digger were the top two to advance to the first final of the year. It was tight and a photo finish as Digger was the overall victor!!
Tom Jones and Brian Spady picked up where they left off in ’03 by blowing the rest of the competition away in the early rounds. They met in the final with Jones prevailing and getting the cash and the trip to the Built Ford Tough Victory Lane.
Monster Truck Freestyle Competition was the best of the year. 5 roll overs out of 12 trucks got the crowd on their feet. Kaptain Insano was the first to go over, followed by Power Forward, Blue Thunder, Dragon Slayer broke shocks and then Digger augered in and found himself with metal carnage!! Digger won with the 1st 30 of the season. |
