Weekend Race Recap

Friday: 

Monsters, Freestyle Motox, and Lawn Mower races, yes that's correct, lawn mower races made up the event Friday night at the Mobile Civic Center as Monster Jam Summer Heat came roaring to the hot gulf town. The Southern Ford Dealers and Subway Sandwich Shops sponsored the event for the weekend. 

There was no shortage of action as the night began with a wheelie contest followed by donut, freestyle and racing.

The night featured some interesting items of note.

1. A new awsome design body for Reptoid

2. A new sponsor for Adrenalin, Mobile Camping and Hunting Supply

3. Dueling donuts at the end by Adrenalin and Grave Digger

4. John Seasock announcing a second Sudden Impact Truck next year.

5. A tie in the donut contest with Adrenalin winning over Grave Digger

If that wasnt enough the FMX was incredible with Will Kimbrough getting the win with the fans applause. The lawn mower races were fast moving with  #3 Lee Franklin getting the win in the main.

Saturday:

It was anything but a dark and stormy night in Mobile Saturday for the second night of the Monster Jam Summer Heat event. The Southern Ford dealers party in the pits was a hugh success as fans came from the entire area to meet the monsters up close and personal.

Highlights of the night included the Awsome Donut by Pure Adrenalin, dualing donuts from Grave Digger and Adrenalin at the end of the night. A fastastic Digger Wheelie to start the show and Freestyle Motocross with its high flying action.

There was a tie in Freestyle between Pure Adrenalin and Grave Digger. In the

cheer-off  the fans chose Grave Digger as their winner in the freestyle competition.

Freestyle Motox,, Lawn Mower races, and a wild radio controlled monster truck demo rounded out the night of action.

After the event drivers signed autographs for over an hour before tiring down and heading out of town to the next event.
