Weekend Race Recap

Friday - 7:30 PM -
Thunder Nationals brought to you by Advance Auto Parts and Hardee's rolled into Richmond Virginia to a Coliseum full of Monster fans. The action got underway with the Advanced Auto Parts wheelie competition with all six monsters putting the hammer down and getting vertical.

Black Stallion took the win by one point over Captains Curse and got the energy going in the fans. Side by side racing was next with round after round of intense racing keeping the fans on the edge of their seats. The finals saw Black Stallion taking the win. The fans wanted more action and they got it by way of the UTI donut competition. Grave Digger fans got to see the Black and Green wrecking machine take the floor and power out Cyclone donuts and grab the win for the Digger camp.

The fans were ready for freestyle and it showed thru the noise levels coming from the stands. With the course being destroyed by Monster after Monster it was Grave Digger taking the freestyle win with the crowd going crazy. Thanks for coming out Monster fans we'll see you tomorrow. The Don

Saturday - 7:30 PM -

Richmond Coliseum was standing room only as the Thunder Nationals kicked off day number two. The UTI wheelie contest kicked things off and the action got real quick with Grave Digger taking the win.

Racing action saw Black Stallion just barely taking the win home in the Advance Auto racing finals against the Iron Warrior. In the Donut competition all the monsters looked good until, Grave Digger hit the floor and cycloned his way to the win.

The fans came for destruction and they got it from all the Monsters as everything on the course was destroyed. Thanks for coming out Monster Fans and we'll see you tomorrow. The DON

Sunday - 2:00 PM -

Thunder Nationals rolled into the Richmond Coliseum and the stands were packed and ready for some serious Monster action. First up was the Wendy's wheelie competition with all the Monsters putting the front bumpers in to the sky.

The action was hot and heavy with BLACK STALLION and CAPTAINS CURSE going toe to toe with CAPTAINS CURSE taking the win. Racing action saw AMERICAN GAURDIAN taking on BLACK STALLION with the fans going crazy as BLACK STALLION took the win.

In the Donut competition all the Monsters were doing awesome donuts with GRAVE DIGGER scoring a win.

Last up was the Advance Auto Parts Freestyle competition. All the Monsters were putting in awesome freestyle runs but, in the end it was CAPTAINS CURSE winning the freestyle comp and the fans loved every minute of the action. Thanks for coming out Monster fans. See you at the next show. The DON
