With the two veterans ready to race the crowd was on there feet for the finals. Grave Digger beat Bounty Hunter off the line and kept the lead for the win.
Freestyle was awesome and each truck showed that they should be crowned champion. Donkey Kong started the competition and scored a 14 Thrasher was next and took an 8 with some damage to the truck. Jurassic Attack showed some power but fell short of the clock and scored a 7 as well as Prowler who cut a tire early in his run. Instigator in his first stadium show wowed the crowed with some great air but fell short with a 12. Iron Outlaw gained the hot seat as he flipped the truck over with style and a score of 18. Tropical Thunder followed with a 10 and the Patriot scored a 14. Until now no one could score any higher and Superman tried his best. After a great freestyle and roll over Superman only scored a 15 with boo's from the crowd. Maniac broke early and scored a 10 and Safe Auto fell short by 1 point with a 17. Monster Jam continued through its second day in the Alamo City, San Antonio, Texas with all the action taking off right at 2:00pm, and with a crowd anxious to see the Monsters and their favorite drivers. Some Democross, Quarter Midget and Sand Drag racing took place right before the afternoon main event, "Monster Jam"
First, Monster Jam Racing. During the qualifying round some incredible speeds took place over the all new Monster Jam Cyclone Track. It's a 50 feet longer track than usual, and San Antonio at the Alamodome it's one of the first cities to have the Monsters racing on this kind of track.

First Round of racing.
With 14 qualifying trucks to the first round, things started to heat up, and every single competitor with one thing in mind: Be the night's Racing Champion. First pair to compete was Bounty Hunter and Taz. Taz gave it all out there on the track, but couldn't beat Bounty Hunter who made it the second round. Safe Auto Minimizer beats Jurassic Attack, AirForce Afterburner beats Predator, Grave Diggers wins over Prowler, Superman is faster than Maniac, Tropical Thunder beats The Patriot, and Donkey Kong wins over Instigator for the second round. Taz is the fastest looser qualifier putting him in the last spot of Round two.
Second Round of Racing.
Bounty Hunter beats Safe Auto Minimizer, Grave Digger wins over Air Force AfterBurner, Superman is faster than Tropical Thunder, and Taz wins over Donkey Kong. The competition was tough and actually the arrival of the Monsters to the finish lines was very close. This sends us to the Semi Finals with Bounty Hunter winning over Air Force which came in for Grave Digger with some mechanical problems. Taz wins over Superman in a very close call, leaving the two fastest trucks of the afternoon for the Finals: Bounty Hunter and Taz. At this point the crowd in the Alamo Dome was just going of their seats cheering their two favorite trucks and drivers. Everything was set for the final stage of the racing Competition. The green light turned on, and all the horse power from both trucks just went off, and pulled through out the 3 laps of racing. And your winner is: Bounty Hunter!!! Jimmy Creeten was totally excited to have won the racing competition, especially when one night before he was officially invited to the World Finals in Las Vegas! What a weekend for Creeten and his Bounty Hunter!!!
Monster Jam Free Style.
The track is set for one of the audience's favorites, Monster Jam Free Style. One night before the trucks had given everything they could on their free style. We saw tires flying, pieces of the trucks body falling apart, we just thought how they would do on a second day of competition. Well, guess what? They were-once again- just terrific, beyond anyone's expectations. One of the most spectacular performances of the night came from Air Force Afterburner Damon Bradshaw, who practically destroyed all the truck's Body while jumping high cars obstacles, the sand hill and speedy doughnuts. He had a score of 25 points, becoming the absolute leader at that moment. Then Taz came in really strong with the word winning all over his performance getting a total of 23 points. The freestyle competition was not over, and we still need to see what the legend had in his sleeve. Grave Digger once again, for the second consecutive night, came with high jumps over the obstacles, the sand hill, and incredible doughnuts, all enough to surprise the judges giving the Digger a total of 27 points. For the second consecutive night Grave digger was the winner of Monster Jam Free style!!!!
We also had Democross racing and Fmx giving an extra excitement to the San Antonio Audience. Thank You San Antonio!!!!
