TRUCK HISTORY

This orange monster truly has a paint job befitting its interesting name. It features a very cartoon-style graphic of a crazed paperboy on a bike, about to toss some “bad news” on someone’s doorstep. This clever take on paint jobs makes it a favorite at pit parties whenever driver/owner Bruce Haney brings it to a Monster Jam® or Thunder Nationals® event.

Haney originally broke into motor sports as a motocross rider, but as soon as he discovered monster trucks in the 80’s, he knew he had to make a change. After spending most of his free time pursuing a monster truck career, he and his wife, Jami, decided it was time to leave his successful job at a Ford dealership and commit to Monster Jam full time. They bought the old Excalibur monster truck and converted it into Bad News Travels Fast, and now spend most of the year racing and freestyling against the best drivers in the world.
