TRUCK HISTORY

The current incarnation of Sudden Impact has been performing at Monster Jam® events since 2003, but the monster truck itself existed long before that. Always one of the more colorful trucks in the line-up, Sudden Impact sports a two tone red and blue body, with shades of orange and yellow in between. The signature stars incorporated along the hood and the sides have been a mainstay for years.

A frequent competitor at the Monster Jam World Finals, Sudden Impact performs at a substantial number of events around the country as two trucks are able to split time between Monster Jam shows. The two monster trucks are piloted by Jon Zimmer and John Killinger, who have years of motorsports experience, both behind the wheel and behind the scenes, between them.
