TRUCK HISTORY

Thrasher came to life from several of Mike Vaters’, driver of Black Stallion, old truck parts. Vaters met Pat Summa at a Monster Jam® event and the rest was history.

Before Summa created Thrasher, he originally purchased a monster truck for use at his lawn care business. The truck has also gone through a name change and a couple different bodies before it became Thrasher. In the Mid-1990s, when Thrasher was revealed, it was known for being the only Toyota-bodied truck.
