In 2005, the Safe Auto Insurance Company felt the need to have its own Monster Jam® race team and created the Safe Auto Minimizer. The man behind the wheel for the 2006 season and who maintains the position even today is Marc McDonald.
As driver for Safe Auto Minimizer, McDonald wasted no time. He became one of the first rookies to earn a spot in the Monster Jam World Finals. Later on, in 2006, McDonald was voted “Rookie of the Year” at the Monster Jam awards banquet in Las Vegas . On top of that, Safe Auto Minimizer has made it to the racing final in over half the events its competed in.
