When you’re the son of the driver and creator of Grave Digger®, it may seem like you already have a leg up on the competition in the world of Monster Jam®. Not so for Adam Anderson, driver of the Taz™ monster truck. He had to work hard to get behind the wheel, and all that work paid off as he bested all comers – including his Dad, Dennis – to win his very first Freestyle World Championship at the 2008 Monster Jam World Finals.
The Taz™ monster truck has some of the most distinguishing features in Monster Jam. Based off Warner Brothers famous Tasmanian Devil™ cartoon character, the Taz™ monster truck comes complete with pointy ears, a huge black nose, and sharp teeth. Plenty of detail can be found in the paint job, including hair, fur, and even whisker dimples! And the similarities don’t stop there. The way Adam drives his monster truck is almost the same way Taz gets around in cartoons; spinning from place to place a whirling cloud of dust!
