TRUCK HISTORY
BlueThunder The Built Ford Tough Blue Thunder made its debut on the Monster Jam scene back in January 6th, 2001 at the Houston Astrodome. Ford Motor Company teamed up with Live Nation to brand a pair of monster trucks with the Built Ford Tough shield. The result has been consistent podium finishes every year as well as a invite to the pinnacle Monster Jam World Finals event in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007. Some of the top names in the business have piloted the Built Ford Tough Blue Thunder such as Lyle Hancock, George Balhan, Norm Miller, Tony Farrel and Linsey Weenk. Each year the Blue Thunder monster truck performs at 20+ Monster Jam events in front of nearly 800,000 fans as well as displaying at events such as the Ford Championship Weekend and Ford Dealership sales.
