Aurora, Ill (March 29, 2008) – Live Nation Motor Sports, Inc, announced today the results of the first ever season-long Monster Jam® Video Game National Tournament. What started as a national tournament with qualifying rounds in eight of the largest stadiums on the 2008 Monster Jam tour, ended with the crowning of Jordan Rager, 14 years old from Loganville, Ga., at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas as the first ever Monster Jam Video Game National Champion.

“I honestly can’t believe this just happened,” said Rager, as he was swarmed with media following his national championship run along with his dad, Danny Rager. “Everyone in Loganville knows I’m here competing at the Monster Jam NGK Spark Plugs World Finals – my friends, my school, my church, my extended family in Chicago…everyone.”

Rager qualified to compete in the Monster Jam Video Game National Tournament by being selected at random on MonsterJamOnline.com to compete at the qualifying round in Atlanta at the Georgia Dome on January 12. After winning the Georgia Dome qualifying round in front of 67,672 fans, he was flown with the eight other qualifying gamers along with one MonsterJamOnline.com wildcard winner to Las Vegas for the Monster Jam NGK Spark Plugs World Finals to compete for the overall gaming championship.

Competing in one of three semi-final rounds in the Built Ford Tough Party in the Pits on Saturday, Rager qualified for the championship bracket inside Sam Boyd Stadium along with Brent-Erik Goedel from St Francis, Minn., (Metrodome qualifier), Jonathan Soto from Orlando, Fla., (Citrus Bowl qualifier), and Bret Rideout from Valley Park, Mo., (Edward Jones Dome qualifier) on the Nintendo Wii game system.

Rager lead the championship all three laps on his way to becoming the first ever Monster Jam Video Game National Champion.

The Monster Jam video game, produced and distributed by Activision, is available at all major video game retailers on the PS2, Wii, Xbox 360, NDS, and PC platforms. An instant hit, the Monster Jam video game has sold over a half-million units domestically to date. This compliments the 40-plus licensees under the Monster Jam brand.
