You hear people use the expression “the calm before the storm” quite often these days, and for how much I hate sounding like every other twittering teenager, I just can’t seem to come up with a better way to describe what is going to take place here this weekend inside Sam Boyd Stadium at the 10th running of the Monster Jam NGK Spark Plugs World Finals. What a line up! 24 of the greatest monster trucks in the world will compete against each other on what looks like the toughest course ever assembled in World Finals history.

If the 24 competing trucks bouncing off their rev limiters and ripping apart their elaborately painted bodies don’t get your blood boiling like contaminated brake fluid, then maybe the huge display of 55 trucks that are going to be out at tomorrows Double Down event (which my inside sources say is going to be bigger and better then ever!) and Saturdays Built Ford Tough Party in the pits. I overheard one of the Monster Jam guru’s earlier stating that 55 monster trucks on display in one location is the world’s largest monster truck display to date, EVER!



If there is one thing constant with Monster Jam and the World Finals to be more specific, it’s that in this ever shrinking economy; Monster Jam is bucking the trend and going bigger then ever! Bigger jumps, bigger superstars, a bigger Double Down, bigger bus stacks, bigger Built Ford Tough Party In The Pits, bigger and better access to your favorite drivers, this years Monster Jam NGK Spark Plugs World Finals is going to be stellar!!!
