Stockholm, Sweden (April 3 2008) – Live Nation Motor Sports, Inc., today announced the initial list of countries on the highly anticipated 2008 Monster Jam® European tour schedule. To date, seven countries, including newcomer, Denmark, will welcome the world’s most famous monster trucks into Europe’s most prestigious stadiums and arena.

The tour will kick off in massive style, with four consecutive stadium stops in June alone, each featuring 10 monster trucks, including crowd favorites Grave Digger®, Maximum Destruction®, the return of the Superman™ monster truck and the European debut of Donkey Kong. In the first month alone, Monster Jam will entertain nearly 200,000 fans and capacity crowds are expected at these high-energy shows.
“We’re kicking off the 2008 season in the largest venues we’ve ever had on any European Monster Jam tour,” said Magnus Danielson, senior director of European events. “Although the 2007 tour was epic, each year in Europe we’ve been able build on the previous year’s success. With the largest facilities we’ve ever competed in and the most creative race tracks Monster Jam officials have ever designed, I can only imagine what’s ahead. The 2008 European Monster Jam tour is something fans will want to witness first hand.”
In 2007 alone, Monster Jam Europe entertained close to 250,000 fans with over 75% of the shows and nearly every pit party selling out. Tour highlights included three stadium events that entertained nearly 50,000 spectators each. In the past four years, Monster Jam Europe has thrilled nearly one million live event fans and have amassed an in home TV audience of 5-plus million households yearly.

It is a giant among family shows in the US and Canada, selling a record 4 million tickets annually with 325 performances at the premiere sporting stadiums and arenas in those countries.
